Today is the July link-up for Everybody Everywhere. The theme? Color blocking. I wear a lot of color (which you have probably already figured out), so I figured this would be a pretty easy challenge. When I actually tried to put an outfit together, though, I discovered I don't have the best closet for color blocking. The majority of my clothes have prints on them, which just ends up looking like a vaguely color coordinated outfit. Not to mention I've already posted all the colorblock outfits I immediately came up with.
So what do I do? I reach for my trusty magenta jeans. I'm pretty sure I wear these as much as regular blue jeans. Best $20 I've ever spent. Okay, probably not, but they are probably the best $20 I've spent on a pair of colored pants.
On another note...I want to live here.
What are your favorite colors to colorblock?

Love the outfit! Those pants are a great colour and for only $20?! awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI like your color block and how you added the yellow necklace! And yes, $20 for colored jeans is a great buy. I don't like to spend more than $30 on colored jeans since they're trendy, so I definitely love yours for $20. Haha. :) If you find someone that will give you the million, send them my way after. :) Anyway, great look! Take care!

I love this outfit. I have so many solids that I basically do color blocking everyday (except if it is with jeans or black pants it doesn't count).
ReplyDeleteI clicked on your pictures because I thought I could guess where the clothes were from and I was pretty close.
I like how you incorporated the necklace into blocking to. I did not in my outfit.
LOVE your color blocking - those colors are so pretty together!
