Wrinkles and I really don't get along. It doesn't seem to matter how much I iron (and by iron, I mean hang my clothes in the bathroom while I take a shower), my clothes always get wrinkled. This particular skirt rebelled after siting for just a few minutes. I think I might just give up on the battle versus wrinkles. It doesn't seem like one I can win. (I'm talking to you LC dress.)
And speaking of being disheveled, I really need a haircut. Or at least a bang trim. All I can see out of my left eye is hair. Do you get hair vision after just a couple months? It's gotten to the point where every time I look at pictures or in the mirror, I can only think how badly I need a haircut. Then guess what I do. Nothing. I shrug, walk away, and forget to call the salon. Bangs, I'm coming for you soon. Watch out.
Happy Thursday!

Way cool! Some very valid points! I appreciate you penning this write-up and the rest of the site is very good.

Ditto on the ironing. Not enough room in my apartment to set up an ironing board, so I either cross my fingers, or do the shower method. Love this look on you though! Polka dots are always so cute!

Love the polka dots with the blue skirt. I hate ironing. I will do almost anything to get out of it. I'm doing a link up next thursday. Would love it if you joined.

ReplyDeleteAlso, I think you would look adorable with your hair parted down the middle with long bangs! Money saving and a 'new look' all at once! Just an idea! :)

I LOVE this outfit! That polka dot top is so cute and looks so good with the blue skirt!
ReplyDeleteOoh! I really like this outfit. Your sweater is just darling! I've been looking for some "grown up" polka dots to wear, and am struggling to find something I really love. Your sweater is perfect :) I really like how it looks with the blue skirt, too. Very polished and professional.
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the hair! I desperately either need a bang trim, or I need to commit to growing them out. They're awkward and long, and I definitely have "hair vision" right now, too! I just blogged about wanting to change up my hair yesterday, actually :)
I absolutely am with you on "ironing" too. Literally, I think I've ironed 5 times (maybe) in my life. I HATE IT - and I usually wind up creating more wrinkles anyways, ha! My preferred method of de-wrinkling is throwing said item in the dryer with a damp/wet sock and drying it for 10ish minutes. Works like a charm every time :)
